Senior Football Coach 2025
Our most successful senior coach, Scott Beattie will return to Echuca United as our Senior Coach. His reputation precedes him, culminating in the clubs 2013 senior premiership. He will take the reins for the 2025 season.
The club, sponsors and supporters warmly welcome back Scott, along with his wife Alexia and children Brooklyn, Scout, Banks.
Senior Football
Our Senior football caters for players in an open group with no age limitations. The senior team is made up of the more serious footballer, with a team consisting of the best players available on that particular day. The reserves team is also open aged with an emphasis on the development of young up and coming players, along with a mix of the more experienced.
At Echuca United we aim to be as successful as we can on the field, while still encouraging the social element of our great club.
Junior Football
The age limit for Junior Football is by midnight on December 31st in the preceding season. All players will have an opportunity to develop skills, learn, improve and develop confidence in their game, using the resources and knowledge of coaches and players around the club.
The U14 & U17 Junior Football teams are part of the Murray Football League.
The U16 & Youth Girls Football teams are part of the Shepparton District Junior Football League.
The U10 & U12 Football teams are part of the Goulburn Campaspe Football League.
Auskick
What is Auskick? NAB AFL Auskick is the best fun kids can have being active! In our sessions kids will explore the world of AFL, building football skills and playing in a safe and super fun setting. Expect small groups, heaps of games and parent/guardian involvement.
Auskick is a program designed to teach the basic skills of Australian rules football to boys and girls aged between 5 and 12.
Youth Girls Coach 2025
Tim McCormick has an extensive football resume, which includes playing over 250 games at Mathoura Football Netball Club, obtaining a premiership during that time as well as various other accolades. Tim has coached in a senior men’s role for several years and is looking forward to bringing his knowledge, and experience to our Youth Girls Team.
Youth Girls Football
The Echuca United Youth Girls Football team is part of the Shepparton District Junior Football League and consists of girls aged 13 – 18 years.
Age is determined by January 1st of competition year. Players must have turned 13 before playing their first game. Players cannot be turning 19 during the year.
